Learning & Development
Through a rich and balanced curriculum, we aim to provide meaningful learning experiences for all of the unique children that attend our nursery.

Communication and Language
Communication and language development in the early years lays the primary foundation for future learning and impacts our ability to effectively express ourselves, regulate our emotions and foster positive relationships. By creating communication friendly spaces, modelling vocabulary rich language, encouraging attentive listening, engaging children in active conversations, singing nursery rhymes and reading stories we support children in developing strong skills for life.
Physical Development
We understand and support healthy physical development of children through a variety of encouraging, safe and challenging indoor and outdoor activities, and promote healthy practices with regard to eating, hygiene, rest and regular exercise to ensure children’s overall wellbeing.

Personal, Social and Emotional Development
Our practitioners build strong relationships with children and support them in their journey of learning about their emotions and how to regulate them, how to understand and appreciate the feelings of others, they help them grow a positive sense of self, confidence and independence.
Literacy
We understand that Literacy development is a foundation of every child’s educational journey and nurture motivation and enthusiasm for reading and mark-making by creating a literacy rich environment, encouraging play, interactions, story sharing, singing and rhyming activities, and having fun with phonics.
Mathematics
We provide playful, yet challenging learning opportunities to ensure all children develop fundamental mathematical knowledge and skills, and understand the practical application of it in everyday situations
Understanding the World

We build on children’s personal experiences and help them make sense of the world around them, develop important understanding of the natural environment, culture and traditions, people, community and their place within it.
Expressive Arts & Design
We recognise that the quality and variety of what children see, hear and experience is crucial for developing their understanding and ability to express themselves through different forms of arts. We support children in developing their imagination and creativity by encouraging them to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials and share their thoughts, ideas and feelings.
